ios10.1?
Hello,
If you have had no success Jailbreaking the iPhone, try updating to10.1 and using limera1n to jailbreak. Also, if you get stuck, use YouTube for any advise as it is a brilliant source of information.
I’m not sure whether the RIP Dev. will choose to release installer using a Cydia source, it would certainly work to their advantage. Either way if you pwn your phone now, then when installer is released you would only need to create a new custom firmware in winpwn with installer, and restore using iTunes (make sure you let a backup complete first).
I haven’t found a good list of apps that have been ported to iOS 10 yet, but the absolute best place to look is check the ‘Changes’ section within Cydia daily. It contains all newly available apps. Currently other than Macman and NES, most of the apps are command line utilities, and there are some wallpaper / dialler packs there.
Thanks for your help. I guess I’ll wait until the next firmware update and then pwn after that. Maybe Installer will be available by then and be a part of Winpwn.
Or, you could wait until10.1, or you could wait until iOS 10, or you could wait until 2 months from now. There will ALWAYS be something new and updated. Waiting for stability is okay, but waiting for the next new thing will always leave you waiting. Honestly, if you have a full back-up, it’s not really that hard to do the re-pwn.
I found a few probs and what to do bout them maybe… I rebooted my MacBook and phone, that worked to get it all going good. Then at the end I found out that I had to disable my pass code lock for the whole thing to go thru, so now I’m starting over. I’ll post whether it works or not.
Is there a reason why the entire night, all it said was beginning jailbreak? I checked this morning and it said same thing. I decided to just quit and retry.
Then it says, detected you tried to jailbreak and failed. Now I’ve started again and it’s still saying beginning jailbreak. How long should I let it sit like that before I know if it failed? Like how long does the first phase actually take?
hi guys I am James the jailbreak of me and the new jailbreak10.1 will be up
bravo
can someone please let me know if this actually worked for them?
Hey can you please give me d link to unlock my iPhone 5 n iPhone 5s of 5.0.1 please
thank you
I have a replacement iPhone 5s conveniently on 8.1.. Any recommendations on jail breaking 8.1 until the one for10.1 is released? OR with10.1 released now should I update to10.1 before that signing window is closed as well? Or they wouldn’t close the window until the JB is released or shortly after? I’m not impatient by any means but with10.1 still up in the air, and I actually have 8.1 I guess options are pretty much unlimited.
My main concern is if I JB 8.1 on my 4s will it drain the battery even more than it would without the JB? That’s almost why I’m tempted to update to10.1 and just wait it out for the next release. (not sure how this phones battery is on 8.1 yet as I just got the phone replaced.. Surprised apple didn’t have to update it past 8.1 as a rule.. Since signing window is closed lol. Thanks for help or replies.
Ik it may come off greedy but we all know they release it quicker there obviously is more going on then we are told
Couldn’t agree more. It’s usually out by now. Funny how many surveys they keep posting as well.
