[Fixed] USB Device Not Recognized Pop Up
USB Device Not Recognized pop up error occurs when the hardware driver is not supported by your Windows 8 (Including 8.1) or Win 7 or XP operating System…
There are mainly three possibilities that attract “USB Device Not Recognized” pop up…
- Your Windows 8.1 or 8 operating system do not support hardware drivers. [In many cases it happens with Windows 8, It might possible that you are encounter USB device not detected error in Windows 7 or XP]
- One or more USB devices conflict with each other.
- Your USB driver is not updated with the latest driver update.
The common reason is, USB driver is not updated. But, I have seen many cases where users have Core i3, i5 or even i7 with the latest hardware and USB devices and drivers and getting “USB Device Not Recognized” specially when they are using Windows 8 (except when the system came with Windows 8 or higher version built in)
Many times, USB device error fixes automatically after restart your computer. If problem persist, I would recommend to update your device driver or downgrade your operating system with the stable version. Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 is not stable version at the moment.
